MONTHLY PROFESSIONAL MEET / FAMILY DINNER

Dear Brothers / Sisters in Islam,

The measure of a man is in the strength of his conviction as expressed in the extent of his sacrifice for what he believes is right as also in the frustration of his opposition in its inability to scare, bribe and ridicule the man into submission. Such were the prophets –Nooh, Ibrahim, Looth, Hood, Swaleh, Dawood, Musa, Isa, Mohammad Sallalaho Alaihi Wasallam. Imam Abu Hanifa, Imam Hussain, Imam Ahmad bin Humbal, may Allah be pleased with them all, are for ever alive in human hearts centuries after their time.

Other human heroes – zeroes in comparison to prophets- have shown similar strength - Mother Teresa, M.K. Gandhi, Nelson Mandela and Dr. Sudarshan. Small individuals whose faith was so gigantic that it dwarfed giant armies. Their lives have inspired billions of people in standing up for the truth.

As Allah says in Qur’an Chapter 2 Ayah 249

But those who knew with certainty that they are going to meet Allah said: ”How often a small group overcame a mighty host by Allah’s Leave”

This professional meet we bring to you the story of one small man, aptly named Malcolm Little – later grew up to fame as Malcolm X. His faith, his conviction and his oratorial skills continue to inspire.
